Front desk is book by Kelly yang, (one of my favorite authors!) And in it, it talks about a girl named Mia. Mia came from China to America with 100$ in their hand living in their car for a couple of years. Then, she finally settles down with her parents at a motel, where she meets the mean owner, Mrs. Yao. As she goes to school, Mrs. Yao’s son, Jason, keeps on bullying Mia with all the other kids. As Mia goes to school, she meets Lupe (P.S I LOVE Lupe so much, she is so brave, you’ll know what I mean if you read the whole series!) Anway’s as I said, she meets Lupe, and well, they become best friends! Mia loves writing (which I connect to so much!) I just feel like this is such a good book. Mia learns so much in her journeys, making everything count! The weeklies, her friends, and of course, her teachers! I feel like in Every book she has a goal she wants to complete. I feel so good when I read these books! I know bullying isn’t easy. I have switched my school so many times because of bullying, but when I read her books, I feel like I have a friend. Mia has such a nice personality. When you read these books, you realize that there is so much more to a little girl’s life than anything. I have never learned anything bad from this book; this book made me so happy, more than anyone can know. Thank you so much for reading this.
